Wine Advocate Top 25 Under $35
In 2019, we have an outstanding vintage with some clear price incentives to buy the wines as futures. At the lower tiers, there is still a lot of good value and some downright bargains to be had.
For me, it is truly the “sleepers” and those under-the-radar jewels of this vintage that should not be overlooked. These are wines that are ideal for new collectors or even collectors who would like to squirrel a few cases away for future everyday-drinking wines. These wines will represent incredible value, based on their original price, after just a few years in the cellar. With this in mind, I have put together a list of my top outstanding-quality wine bargains that I could find available in the markets for under US $35 (before local duties, taxes, etc.). All of these wines should have a good 20 years of cellaring potential and yet, giving the new wave of Bordeaux winemaking, they should be drinking well within just one to three years of receipt. - Lisa Perotti-Brown, Wine Advocate
