A small yield of 30 hl/ha after frost, picked 13th September at 14%, but I did not see any trace of the alcohol when tasting this wine. Pale lime reflections in the colour. This wine begins beautifully with a fresh, chiselled nose, perfectly balanced with considerable energy. Alongside the admirable tension this wine is so full of fruit too, dancing across the palate. Highly Recommended. Tasted: September 2020 –Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy

The 2019 Saint-Aubin Le Banc is very promising, delivering aromas of pear, orange oil, white flowers and wheat toast. Medium-bodied, bright and incisive, it's racy and precise, with fine depth at the core. Racked to tank not long before my visit for bottling early in the new year, I suspect it will fill out a little as it finishes its élevage. This is one of the easier-to-find wines in the range, and it represents a fine introduction to the house style—and the racy wines of Saint-Aubin. –William Kelley, The Wine Advocate

Tasting note: Citrus white orchard fruit aromas trimmed in pretty floral whiffs introduce succulent and round medium weight flavors that possess just enough backend punch to remain balanced. This is not especially complex, but it is certainly delicious on the lemony and agreeably dry finale. Note that this could easily be enjoyed shortly after release. –Allen meadows, Burghound

From an estate purchased in 2014 and split with Domaine Etienne Sauzet in Cormot. This is an assemblage of three different parcels, all exposed west/southwest on a steep slope with limestone soils. The result yields a lovely wine, with bright acidity and an evocative, lemony fruit that leads to a lingering finish. Colin blocks the malolactic conversion on about one-third of the barrels. Drinking Window 2021 - 2029 --Charles Curtis, Decanter

Aromas of pear, white flowers and freshly baked bread introduce the 2019 Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Beaune Au Bout du Monde, a medium-bodied, charming and incisive wine, its pretty core of fruit underpinned by tangy acids, concluding with chalky grip. --William Kelley, The Wine Advocate

Tasting note: Citrus-suffused white orchard fruit aromas give way to sleek, delicious and nicely delineated flavors that exude a subtle salinity on the balanced and solidly persistent finish where the only nit is a similar hint of warmth. This is quite good as I like the depth and delivery. Outstanding. Top Value –Allen Meadows, Burghound

This wine comes from 6 year old vines, which were the last to be picked, by, which time sugar levels had risen. The 14% alcohol is not in fact all that evident behind the classic PYCM reductive note and the apples and pears on the palate are backed by higher acidity, which is a good thing here. Tasted: September 2020 –Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy

The 2019 Saint-Aubin 1er Cru Hommage à Marguerite is also showing nicely, mingling hints of citrus zest and crisp green apple with notions of warm bread and nutmeg. Medium to full-bodied, layered and elegantly textural, it's rich but controlled, with racy underlying acids and a long finish. –William Kelley, The Wine Advocate

A blend of 1ers crus Combes, Créot and Perrières. There is a lighter green tint here, with very elegant, albeit ripe fruit, some pears, followed by tight lemon and lime citrus acidity. Fair balance Tasted: September 2020 –Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy

Note: 50% is from Les Combes with the rest from En Créots and Les Perrières
Tasting note: Here too there is a hint of matchstick character to the apple compote, fennel and lemon zest aromas. There is better volume to the delicious, rich and seductively texture middle weight flavors that possess an underlying chalkiness that carries over to the lemony finale. Note that this too could be approached on the younger side. –Allen Meadows, Burghound

Pale, shimmering orange. Incisive, mineral-accented red berry and clementine aromas are complemented by a suave floral accent that builds as the wine opens up. Juicy and energetic in character, offering sharply delineated strawberry, tangerine and honeysuckle flavors and suave, seamless texture. Delivers firm closing cut, resonating floral and mineral notes and superb persistence. Raised in used French oak barriques. - Josh Raynolds-- Vinous Media
