Today's releases include the full lineup of Right-Bank estates from Peter Kwok's Vignobles K, including one of the greatest values in Bordeaux, Tour St Christophe. This estate is on a run of incredibly successful vintages, and in the scheme of quality versus price, it's number one on the list of no-brainer purchases for Bordeaux. In 2012 Kwok purchased this vineyard located in Saint-Christophe-des-Bardes opposite Troplong Mondot. Grown on clay-rich soils, the average age of vines is 30 years old and the blend is generally around 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc. Aging takes place in 40% new oak barrels, 40% one-year-old barrels and 20% two-year-old barrels. Kwok's collection of Bordeaux estates also includes favorites such as Bellefont Belcier, Haut Brisson, and L'Enclos Tourmaline that all turned out impressive wines this vintage.

Château Suduiraut have also released their 2022s which includes an incredible Premier Cru Classé Sauternes, perhaps the richest version they have ever made, and their stunning new, old vine dry white wine - the Vieilles Vignes Grand Vin Blanc Sec, which is vibrant and very striking. As Sauternes go, Château Suduiraut has to be one of our absolute favorites, for being consistently brilliant. Just down the hill from Yquem, Suduiraut has one of the finest positions in Sauternes, and is certainly one of the most beautiful chateaux. More importantly, they make exceptional Sauternes, and were classified as a First Growth in 1855. The 2022 is said to be 'the richest ever' of their classic Sauternes Grand Vin. It certainly is rich - very gorgeously so, yet with a subtle freshness held up by a delicate acidity that is almost hidden at this early stage. It's going to be incredible!

Another great wine from this château, the 2022 Château Tour Saint Christophe checks in as 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc brought up in 25% new French oak. It has a great nose of red plums, cassis, chalky minerality, and spice, and this full-bodied Saint-Emilion is impeccably balanced, with a pure, graceful mouthfeel, fine tannins, and outstanding length. 2022 L'Enclos Tourmaline (Pomerol)

Smoky red and black fruits, chocolate, violets, and spring flower notes all emerge from the 2022 Enclos Tourmaline, a medium to full-bodied, lively, vibrant Pomerol that shows the riper style of the vintage yet stays fresh, focused, and elegant. It picks up more floral nuances with time in the glass and is a terrific effort. As always, this is all Merlot from vines near La Fleur Petrus and Trotanoy, from 30 hectoliters per hectare, that will spend 15 months in new oak. Tasted twice. - Jeb Dunnuck

One of the finest Sauternes I've been lucky enough to taste in some time, the 2022 Château Suduiraut is 100% Sémillon that hit 13.9% natural alcohol, with 190 grams per liter of residual sugar. Still resting in 70% new barrels, this monster of a Sauternes offers a huge nose of honeyed citrus, orange marmalade, spice, brioche, and almond paste. Full-bodied, rich, and massively concentrated, nevertheless, it somehow stays flawlessly balanced, fresh, and light on its feet. - Jeb Dunnuck
