Even at the village level, the 2018 wines from Grivot are intense and beautiful. Enticing nose with ripe raspberries, cherries and crushed violets. Suave on the palate and quite intense with velvety tannins and a lingering finish. One of the best Vosne-Romanée village reds I tried in 2018. The 2018 Vosne-Romanée Village, matured in 20–25% new oak, has a well-defined, almost airy bouquet of red cherries, cranberry and sous-bois aromas that develop rose petal notes with time. The palate is medium-bodied with a supple opening and quite juicy in style. An attractive peppery finish extends the aftertaste. Very fine. Neal Martin – Vinous Media

Tasting note: A more elegant and certainly spicier and cooler nose slowly reveals its array of various red berries and exotic tea scents. There is reasonably good energy to the medium-bodied flavors that possess a rich and caressing mouthfeel that terminate in delicious, exuberant and almost gulpable finish.
