    Blueberries, crushed rocks, graphite, and violet notes all emerge from the 2018 Aromes De Pavie, which is a blend of 65% Merlot, 18% Cabernet Franc, and the balance Cabernet Sauvignon.     The 2018 Arômes de Pavie is made up of 65% Merlot, 18% Cabernet Franc and 17% Cabernet Sauvignon, harvested September 27 to October 8 with yields of 42 hectoliters per hectare. The wine has a 3.56 pH and 14.42% alcohol. Very deep purple-black in color, it is a little shy to begin, opening out to give scents of baked black and red cherries, mulberries and blackberry tart with suggestions of licorice, mocha, tilled soil, smoked meats and lilacs with a touch of oolong tea. Full-bodied, the palate is jam-packed with ripe, rich black fruit, framed by firm, rounded tannins and seamless freshness, finishing long and savory. This is a very serious second wine that bears more than a passing resemblance to Château Pavie. - Lisa Perrotti-Brown, Wine Advocate

    The 2018 Arômes de Pavie is a gorgeous, sexy wine. Floral, silky and impeccable, the 2018 is impressive from the very first taste. The purity of the flavors is striking. Over the last few years Pavie has really upped their game with Arômes. The 2018 might be the best yet.
