#58 Wine Spectator Top 100 Wines of 2017
A beautiful wine, with dark fig, warm boysenberry reduction and alluring creamed raspberry flavors streaming forth, accented by graphite, black tea and pastis. There's a healthy dose of singed apple wood through the finish, but it's well-embedded as everything pulls together. Best from 2020 through 2040. 5,500 cases made. - James Molesworth, Wine Spectator
Showing a similar purity and elegance as the more expensive Boisrenard cuvée, the 2015 Châteauneuf du Pape is medium to full-bodied, nicely concentrated and balanced, with classic Provençal notes of black cherries, roasted herbs, garrigue and licorice. It lacks the finesse and tannin quality of the top cuvée, but it’s pretty darn impressive. – Jeb Dunnuck, Wine Advocate
Ripe raspberry and poached fig fruit aromas. The palate leads to black tea, red plum and fig confiture flavors. Drink now. – James Suckling
