A beautiful wine, with dark fig, warm boysenberry reduction and alluring creamed raspberry flavors streaming forth, accented by graphite, black tea and pastis. Showing a similar purity and elegance as the more expensive Boisrenard cuvée, the 2015 Châteauneuf du Pape is medium to full-bodied, nicely concentrated and balanced, with classic Provençal notes of black cherries, roasted herbs, garrigue and licorice.
