Bernabeleva Garnacha de Vina Bonita 2017 (750ML)
Critic Scores, Reviews & Descriptions
The 2017 Garnacha de Viña Bonita has a pale color and a fragrant, floral nose, which is a constant in the 2017 single-vineyard bottlings. Here there is a notch more finesse and complexity, more filigree and detail. It's lighter than the 2018, perhaps with a little less depth, more approachable. It has focused flavors and a long, tasty finish. 1,100 bottles were filled in March 2020. Luis Gutiérrez - The Wine Advocate
The most complete wine in the Bernabeleva range is the Garnacha de Viña Bonita, which comes from an exceptional plot planted in 1929. This is always marked by the place, with good acidity, tannins and flavors, irrespective of the vintage. The production of this wine is always minuscule, sometimes less than 1000 bottles. One of Madrid's finest offerings.
"Year in, year out, this tiny boutique winery produces some of the most sought after Garnacha in the country. Vina Bonita is Bernabeleva's flagship Garnacha, and it is truly a wine of beauty! Sourced from a single vineyard with 80+ year old vines, Vina Bonita is a singular expression of Garncacha, with uncommon subtleness, elegance and great purity. There is so much complexity and depth here, with a very long and tasty finish. Superb." - Distributor Notes
