The 2018 Volnay Clos des Chênes 1er Cru has a very crisp and delineated bouquet with a mélange of red/blue fruit, chalk, flint and light hedgerow scents. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, fleshy on the entry and then firming up towards the finish.
