The 2015 Gevrey Chambertin Clos des Chezeaux came from barrel, matured in 30% new oak with 50% whole bunch. It has a transparent and delineated bouquet: a veneer of blackberry and raspberry fruit but clearly visible underneath lies enticing granitic and wet limestone scents. The palate is fresh and vibrant with crisp acidity, plenty of crunchy blackcurrant and raspberry fruit, and a silver bead of acidity. There is an abiding sense of symmetry conveyed by this Gevrey Chambertin and it reeks of elegance on the finish without compromising an iota of its power. Excellent. Neal Martin – The Wine Advocate
