The 2021 Vosne-Romanée Les Petits-Monts 1er Cru was fermented in concrete instead of stainless steel in order to lessen reduction, though there is still a little on the nose. Nevertheless, one can discern the precise red cherries and crushed strawberry aromas, that distinctive floral touch. The palate is medium-bodied with filigree tannins, exquisite balance and quite a sustained, understated, slightly gourmand finish that lingers long in the mouth. -- Neal Martin, vinous Media
