The 2014 Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru has an attractive bouquet with apple blossom, white peach and a hint of toffee apple on the nose that displays more gumption than others that I have encountered from barrel. The palate is very well balanced with a crisp line of acidity. There is a touch of salinity here, good weight in the mouth with dried honey and quince towards the long finish. This is a classy Corton-Charlemagne. Neal Martin – The Wine Advocate
Tasting note: A deft dollop of wood frames the ripe aromas of green apple, citrus peel, wet stone and floral scents. There is excellent size, weight and power to the tautly muscular and broad-shouldered flavors that brim with mouth coating dry extract that also buffers the firm acid spine on the notably dry but not really austere finale. This too is going to need a few years to fully harmonize and a full decade to realize its full potential. Allen Meadows – Burghound – Sweet Spot
