From a 1.3ha site at the top of the slope in Marsannay. This cool site with very thin soils over the limestone produces a wine of elegance and perfume, but one that lacks the flesh of the other single-vineyard offerings from Clair. 30% of the grapes from the old vines are fermented as whole clusters to produce a wine of finesse and delicacy.--Charles Curtis MW, Decanter
