Disgorged in February 2019 with eight grams per liter dosage, the 2008 Brut Millésimé unfurls in the glass with beautiful aromas of citrus oil, crisp green apple, linden, fresh walnuts and warm bread. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, taut and incisive, with a deep and layered core that integrates its racy spine of acidity, excellent concentration and a long, delicately nutty finish. Impeccably balanced, this is Heidsieck's finest vintage bottling since the 1980s. - William Kelley, Wine Advocate
Justifiably held back for a whopping ten years on lees, upon release hard and unyielding. Twelve months of post-disgorgement ageing since release has lifted the aromas of what was initially a rather introverted Champagne. An initial citrus attack of bright acidity gives way to a pumped up, mid-palate full of rich fruit and that signature C.H. toastiness. A lovely wine to enjoy during the next decade. SP - Jasper Morris - Inside Burgundy
Well-cut and refreshing, this is lacy in texture and finely knit, with rich hints of toasted brioche and candied orange peel accenting the black cherry, salted almond and chalk notes that linger on the finish. Disgorged 2019. Drink now through 2026. 3,000 cases made. - Alison Napjus, Wine Spectator
