Ciacci Piccolomini D'Aragona Brunello Pianrosso 2006 (750ML)
Critic Scores, Reviews & Descriptions
96 JS / 94 WS
96 Points James Suckling: This is a very rich Sangiovese on the nose with dried black cherries and strawberries. Lots of dark chocolate too. Loads of black chocolate cake and dried coffee cake character. Full and very powerful. Lots of ripe tannins. Goes on for minutes. Better in 2014.
94 Points Wine Spectator: Silky and elegant, offering cherry, raspberry, currant and violet aromas and flavors. Detailed and firmly structured, with refined tannins and a lingering aftertaste of red fruits. A Brunello of finesse and harmony. Best from 2012 through 2028. 2,900 cases made. — Bruce Sanderson
