An overtly sauvage nose reflects notes of humus, earth and very ripe dark currant aromas. The big, powerful and impressively concentrated flavors possess absolutely outstanding length and richness. This mouth-coating effort is exceptionally firm and unlike the Charmes, this is not likely to drink well before at least 10 years of bottle age and it may require fully 20 to reach its full prime. Mid cherry red. Perfumed with both fruit and spice and what seems like a slight stemmy note giving a light herbal freshness (in 2015 they typically used about 50% whole bunch, a bit higher than usual).
