It skips out with cheery notes of fresh yellow apples and juicy pears with underlying hints of allspice, white pepper, and chalk dust. Light to medium-bodied, the palate is bright and refreshing with a chalky finish. - Lisa Perrotti-Brown, Wine Independent
The 2022 Clos Marsalette Blanc checks in as a blend of 55% Sauvignon Blanc and 45% Sémillon. A riper, round, textured, medium to full-bodied white, it has ample honeyed peach and citrus fruits, some spice and tropical flower notes, good overall balance, and a clean, dry finish. It’s geared for the dinner table. - Jeb Dunnuck
The 2022 Clos Marsalette Blanc was picked on 14 and 15 September at 45hL/ha and matured in 25% new oak. It has a pretty, aromatic bouquet with white peach, apricot and guava touches emerging with time. The palate is well balanced with wild peach and grapefruit. There's a fine balance with a lively finish. This is a delicious white that will be difficult to resist. - Neal Martin, Vinous Media
