Tasting note: A very pretty and elegant nose merges notes of spice and floral elements with those of red and dark currant. There is fine richness to the relatively full-bodied flavors that possess a caressing mouth feel as well as a subtle minerality that extends to the delicious and seductive finale where a hint of bitter pit cherry emerges. Allen Meadows – Burghound - Outstanding
The 2015 Chambolle Musigny Village has a clean, pure and fragrant bouquet with hints of iodine tinging the red cherry and crushed strawberry fruit, the oak nicely integrated. The palate is fresh and ripe on the entry with a touch more black fruit than red, a "solid" Chambolle in terms of density with a gentle grip on the finish. It needs more time in barrel and bottle to evolve its personality, but the key components are here. Neal Martin – The Wine Advocate
Healthy dark red. Very ripe blueberry dominates the nose. Densely packed and powerful, with thick dark berry and dark chocolate flavors energized by pungent minerality. Finishes with chewy tannins. Impressive but perhaps a bit extreme. Stephen Tanzer – Vinous Media
