A firm and linear wine with lovely length and focus, with crushed stone and blackberry character. Racy finish. Precise. - James Suckling
The 2022 Corbin has turned out beautifully, bursting with aromas of cherries and raspberries mingled with hints of violets, vine smoke and bay leaf. Medium to full-bodied, supple and velvety, it's bright, perfumed and polished, but with a touch more mid-palate density and texture than is habitual for this elegant-styled wine. It's a blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc, and such was the quality of all the lots that no second wine was produced this year. - William Kelley, Wine Advocate
The 2022 Corbin is endowed with tremendous power and richness. Huge tannins and strong Franc notes dominates. It will be interesting to see how this develops, as there is a gorgeous core of fruit that emerges gradually with a bit of aeration. - Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media
Supple and so juicy and easy to like, clean and pure, lovely appealing red berry fruit and great tannin integration, so effortless, maybe lacks some more density, but this is so appealing and already so approachable. will be lovely, amore delicate take, refined and elegant, lovely purity and prettiness. HVE3 certified. - Georgina Hindle, Decanter
Edges of aniseed right off the first moment, intense black fruits, muscular and bristling tannins, with ripe fig and rosemary herbs. Good quality, intense, not quite the lift through the palate to take things up a gear, but plenty to enjoy. Groupe SMA, same as Château Cantemarle over in the Médoc. 40% new barrels for ageing. - Jane Anson, Inside Bordeaux
