A charming, silky style, with pretty cassis and plum fruit flavors sweeping through, followed by light herb, tobacco and chalk accents on the fresh finish. Drink now through 2022. 350 cases imported. - James Molesworth, Wine Spectator
Super plush and richly ripe with fleshy red plums and blackberries. This has a wealth of approachable, appealing, sweet and ripe flavor. Drink now. - James Suckling
There are three Crozes Hermitage releases in 2015, all of which are noteworthy. I suspect the best vintage for this cuvée to date, the tank-aged 2015 Crozes Hermitage les Launes sports an inky purple color as well as terrific notes of plums, black raspberries, toasted spice and damp earth. Medium to full-bodied, polished and elegant, with sweet tannin, this terrific Syrah shows the richness and purity of the vintage. - Jeb Dunnuck, Wine Advocate
Deep violet. Fresh raspberry, cherry, incense and candied flowers on the nose; a zesty mineral nuance adds vivacity. Sweet, seamless and focused on the palate, offering juicy red and dark berry and floral pastille flavors and a hint of spicecake. In a lively, open-knit style. Gentle tannins lend shape to a long floral- and mineral-accented finish.
"The colour is a deep garnet red. The nose is essentially fruity, with strong aromas of cassis and plums, and a touch of violets. This is an ample, well-rounded wine in the mouth that has sufficient tannins for ageing capacity." - Winery
