"The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Hillside and Benchland Vineyards (aged 19 months in French oak) is a beauty. This serious Cabernet Sauvignon showcases just how good Cabernet can be from Dry Creek, although most readers would agree it is better known for Zinfandel. Dense ruby/purple, loads of black cherry, blackcurrant and dusty/loamy soil notes are present in this medium to full-bodied, concentrated and powerful wine. Alcohol is listed at 14.5%, but it may possibly be slightly higher. This is a blockbuster, full-bodied, impressively endowed Cabernet Sauvignon to drink over the next 20-25 years." - Wine Advocate
