A completely different aromatic profile is comprised by notes of bright, cool and exceptionally fresh red currant, floral, earth and subtle spice nuances. There is excellent intensity to the beautifully precise medium weight flavors that possess a sophisticated mouth feel while delivering outstanding length on the firm, serious and ever-so-mildly austere finish. Classy juice that is also fashioned in an understated style. - Allen Meadows, Burghound
Bright, dark red. Aromas of raspberry, spices and smoky minerals are a bit dulled by the recent racking. Then fine-grained and firm in the mouth, with lovely spicy lift and a saline quality to the tight middle palate. Finishes with youthfully edgy tannins but excellent precision and a repeating juicy character.
