89 Points Burghound: Here the exuberantly spicy nose is clean and very fresh with its aromas of red currant, floral nuances, exotic tea and earth hints. There is more volume and a bit more richness as well to the medium weight flavors that possess a velvety mouth feel and plenty of vibrancy on the fine, long and persistent finish. This is an excellent Vosne villages and worth considering. - Allen Meadows
"The 2012 Vosne-Romanee Village includes vines from several plots around the village, including younger planted vines in Clos de Vougeot. It will be the final vintage that includes vines in “Les Communes” that will be en fermage from 2013 and my sample included the 30% new oak that will be in the final blend. Lucid ruby in color, it offers a very pure bouquet with dark berry fruit, hints of bergamot and forest floor, gentle at first but gaining in intensity in the glass. The palate is smooth on the entry with dark, deeper fruit than many of the other Vosne villages, adorned with good weight and a fleshy, pastille-like finish." -Wine Advocate
