Eugenie Vosne Romanee Village Clos D'Eugenie 2016 (750ML)

(production here was 30 hectoliters per hectare, which winemaker Michel Mallard describes as "the closest to normal" in 2016; this wine and the following cuvées were vinified with 60% whole clusters): Bright medium-dark red. Aromas of black cherry and licorice are lifted by a suave floral element. Juicy, spicy and intense, with a positive hint of greenness energizing the dark fruit and mineral flavors.
