90 Points Wine Enthusiast: This juicy, full-bodied blend holds several Bordeaux red varieties, with Cabernet Sauvignon dominant. Smooth and soft, it dances elegantly in clove, black currant and licorice, exhibiting both structure and weight. It finishes lengthy in more of that clove.

"Ferrari-Carano presents its finest blend of the five classic Bordeaux varietals Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot from the best selections of our vineyards in Alexander and Dry Creek Valleys. Aptly named "Tresor" for "treasure" the grapes are hand harvested from low-yielding vines primarily on our mountain vineyards. Vibrant aromas and flavors of blackberry jam, cassis, cedar, anise, blueberry, spiced rum, coffee and caramel combine with a full, rich mid-palate with considerable, round tannins. This wine's upfront silkiness and roundness make for a delicious selection now and will drink well for 15—20 years. Tresor complements lamb, beef and duck dishes that are roasted or braised.
