A young red with depth and firmness. The ultra fine tannins are firm and formed, already giving this wine impressive energy. - James Suckling
Classic Pauillac, very much old school in that this closes down pretty early on, and keeps the blackberry and bilberry fruit from fully opening up. Enjoyable appellation typicity though, and this will be a lovely food wine in a few years time. A yield of 55hl/ha. 40% new oak. - Jane Anson, Decanter
