From barrel and manually blended to get an approximation of the final wine. He groups parcels in the north and the south.
Deep cherry red. Sweetly fragrant red fruit but also ripe and generous in aroma and a touch of spice. Really good depth of fruit and the tannins lightly chewy. Moreish and more savoury/spiced on the palate. Persistent and just a little stalky on the finish from the 50% whole bunch. (JH) Jancisrobinson.com
