Girolate has worked really hard to reduce its monolithic aspect over the past few years, while still keeping the emphasis on sexy textures and flavours. It's not an easy line to walk at this level but this is definitely successful in 2018 with its big, ripe cassis flavours next to chocolate notes and big, chewy tannins.-Jane Anson, Decanter
A firm and fresh white with sliced-apple and dried-mango character. Medium body. Clean and dense finish.
Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2018 Girolate comes bounding out of the glass with gregarious black cherry compote, blueberry pie and baked plums scents with nuances of Chinese five spice, potpourri and dark chocolate.
