Tasting note: Here too there is a subtle whiff of wood present on the pear, resin and petrol-suffused nose. There is once again good energy to the bigger and richer medium-bodied flavors that coat the palate with dry extract, all wrapped in a relatively dry and mildly chewy finale. This isn't elegant, indeed it's borderline rustic but it offers much to like plus it should drink well young and with a few years of aging. Outstanding – Allen Meadows - Burghound
