Produced from a parcel of 0.12 hectares that is worked by horse. Fermented in cask (one-third new), the 2020 vintage finished its malolactic in November since there was minimal malic acid at harvest. The nose has a beguiling combination of tropical and citrus fruit. The texture is lush and silky; the acidity is balanced at best, but there is certainly enough to bring the wine into balance.--Charles Curtis, MW, Decanter
Fresh pale primrose. A delightful nose. Really quite complex. Lots of different layers of fruit here, some more voluptuous. A bit of grenadine, some ripe little red fruits, excellent fresh mineral notes behind, exciting stuff, in a more forward style. 40 hl/ha. Tasted: November 2021. –Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy
