This could be from nowhere else but Chablis with its classic nose of oyster shell, iodine, quinine, citrus and cool floral scents. The powerful yet refined larger-scaled flavors are like rolling rocks around in your mouth before they culminate in a racy, intense and beautifully well-balanced and hugely long finish. Like the Grenouilles, this merits a big wow! Allen Meadows – Burghound
(12.8% natural alcohol, chaptalized to 13.4%): Reticent, very pure aromas of ginger and oyster-shell minerality. Densely packed and fine-grained, conveying powerful rocky minerality, with subtle stone fruit and peach pit flavors in the deep background. Strong citrussy acidity gives this wine outstanding inner-mouth sappiness. Finishes with superb length and éclat. This wine tastes like it's from a different region than the Grenouilles. As bracing as it is, there's nothing hard or austere about it. Stephen Tanzer - Vinous Media
