This is naturally more elegant with a high-toned nose of red cherry, raspberry and soft earth aromas that are trimmed in a top note of menthol. The admirably pure middle weight flavors possess a tautly muscular mouthfeel while displaying fine precision on the tension-filled, balanced and lengthy finish. The 2015 Gevrey-Chambertin Clos Prieur Bas offers up aromas of rose petal, red cherry and wild berries, as well as bass notes of coniferous forest floor.
