Tasting note: This is really quite aromatically elegant with its pure, cool and fresh nose that blends notes of various wild red berries, spice, wood toast and discreet earth hints. There is once again excellent volume to the delicious, palate coating and seductive flavors that deliver fine length on the naturally sweet finish that is notably less structured. This isn't quite as complex as the Champs Chenys at present but the underlying material is such that in time I believe that more depth will develop. Allen Meadows – Burghound
The 2015 Gevrey-Chambertin La Brunelle, which hails from a small vineyard behind the domaine which typically produces around three barrels of wine, offers up a lovely nose of raspberry, cherry, wood smoke and rose petal, framed by creamy new oak. On the palate, the wine is elegant, expansive and fine-grained, with a juicy core of fruit and a stony, mineral finish. This is the most delicate and elegant of Roty's lieux-dits bottlings. –, William Kelley, The Wine Advocate
