A firm, silky red with beautiful tannin structure and finesse. It’s full-bodied, yet so balanced and refined. Long finish. Solid energy here. Better than the 2018. - James Suckling

Lots of cassis and darker fruits as well as spice notes emerge from the 2019 Château La Commanderie. Medium to full-bodied, with terrific balance, ripe yet present tannins, and a great finish, it appears to be a solid step up from past vintages. - Jeb Dunnick
