The 2022 Château La Fleur Morange showed beautifully and is well worth seeking out. Coming from gravelly, iron-laced soils, it has a beautiful perfume of black raspberries, mulberries, spring flowers, and iron. With medium to full body, ripe yet integrated tannins, plenty of mid-palate depth, and beautiful purity, this classic, rich, textured Saint-Emilion should benefit from just 4-5 years of bottle age and have upwards of two decades of longevity. - Jeb Dunnuck
This is thoroughly enjoyable, has teasted out an array of slate, crushed rock, rose petals, cassis, blackberry and liqourice. So much character and pleasure here, great stuff. - Jane Anson, Inside Bordeaux
Attractive and fresh fruit character here with firm, linear tannins and velvety texture. Medium- to full-bodied. Deep and lingering. - James Suckling
Clean and clear, a lovely purity and sharp tang to this, well worked, clean, so precise and focused with bite and energy. Juicy and succulent though also quite straight with fine but firm and grippy tannins that give the frame and the focus. Feels a bit tense, and a touch toasted, but this has nice definition and an easy appeal. Tannic, chewy on the next taste, ripe and round. Fun and friendly, generous and well worked. Massy. - Georgina Hindle, Decanter
