Inky damson in colour, a ton of velvety fruit on the nose, this is good quality, unquesionably marked by oak, and the tannic build up happens pretty quickly. Enjoyable, quietly confident, impressive, with intense bitter black chocate and mint on the finish. Heavy bottle. Different in feel from the main wine at the estate, but both are enjoyable. The 2022 Le Plus de La Fleur de Boüard emerges from the best Merlot blocks on the property. It shows good density and plenty of power. As always, Le Plus is destined for extended aging in barrel, so élevage will ultimately play a very big role in the final result - Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media
