I loved the 2022 Château Lespault-Martillac Blanc, a richer, medium to full-bodied, textured beauty with of honeyed grapefruit and crushed citrus notes, some background minerality, vibrant acidity, and a clean, balanced, layered style that's going to drink nicely right out of the gate, yet also evolve gracefully. I'd be a buyer. The blend is 65% Sauvignon and 35% Sémillon, harvested between August 23rd and September 20th, that's still resting in 25% new oak. Tasted multiple times. - Jeb Dunnuck
The salt and lime character is really pretty, with brightness and freshness. Full-bodied with sizzling acidity and flavor intensity. Key lime pie, too. - James Suckling
The 2022 LespaultMartillac Blanc is rich, layered and wonderfully expressive. Tangerine oil, lemon confit, marzipan, mint and a kiss of French oak are nicely amplified. Generous and creamy, the Blanc is an absolute delight in this tasting. Tasted three times. - Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media
