Highly fragrant black raspberry, boysenberry, violet pastille and Asian spice scents show outstanding clarity and pick up a smoky mineral quality with air. Deeply concentrated but vibrant as well, offering intense red and blue flavors that reach every corner of the palate. The 2016 Perfectionist is a Syrah-dominated blend that includes 17% Mourvèdre and 9% Grenache that was brought up all in concrete. It's a supple, voluptuous effort that offers loads of black and blue fruits, ground herbs, earth, and peppery notes as well as a full-bodied, ripe, beautifully polished elegant style on the palate.
