The 2020 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Les Cazetiers (Domaine Louis Jadot) is rich and muscular, bursting from the glass with aromas of cassis, orange oil, warm spices, woodsmoke and dark chocolate. Medium to full-bodied, deep and layered, with tangy acids and a penetrating finish, it's a fine success.—William Kelley, The Wine Advocate
The 2020 Gevrey-Chambertin Les Cazetiers 1er Cru is very composed on the nose with blackberry, briary, Earl Grey and light marine nuances on the finish. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy ripe red fruit, grippy tannins and though there is some new oak to be assimilated on the finish, it just needs 5-7 years in the cellar before you will surely have a fine Cazetiers on your hands.—Neal Martin, Vinous media
A decidedly sauvage-inflected nose is once again quite restrained and this requires aggressive swirling to eventually coax the aromas of violet, wild berries and plenty of earth character to reveal themselves. There is solid volume, power and evident muscle to the larger-scaled flavors that coat the palate with dry extract on the impressively long finale. This isn't as refined as the Estournelles St. Jacques but it a good deal more powerful. Outstanding.—Allen Meadows, Burghound
