Lucien Le Moine Pommard Epenots 1er Cru 2016 (750ML)
Critic Scores, Reviews & Descriptions
(Vinified with one-third whole clusters and a very soft extraction):
Deep medium ruby. Very ripe aromas of crème de cassis, black cherry and smoke. Fat, chewy wine with lovely depth and fullness to its black fruit flavors. Very ripe but still a bit reduced, even youthfully stunted, and in need of more élevage to show more nuance, clarity and lift. Finishes with substantial ripe tannins and spreading flavors of kirsch and cherry pit.
