Pale colour, very lightly reductive, but the stones come bouncing into play. This is magical in a quite different style to Vide Bourse: note that terroir impact is strong this year in the best cellars. The 2020 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Caillerets is, as usual, one of the highlights of the range. Unfurling in the glass with aromas of citrus oil, fresh bread, beeswax, confit lemon and wet stones, it's medium to full-bodied, satiny and concentrated, with a beautifully tensile and incisive profile, concluding with a long, mineral finish.—William Kelley, The Wine Advocate
