Tasting note: An overtly spicy nose features aromas of plum, dark cherry and jasmine tea. There is excellent vibrancy to the sleek, refined and detailed medium-bodied flavors that display very solid depth and persistence on the youthfully austere, firm and balanced finale. A glowing mid purple. The bouquet typifies the pure and hedonistic fruit of the village, getting us off to a good start. I was initially expecting more in the mouth here, though in fact there is still plenty, and more will emerge later after racking. Discreet for now, but on the right path. Drink from 2025-2030.
