Like the Grande Berge this required the better part of an hour to open and while it wasn't quite as aromatically closed, the herbal tea-inflected nose of pretty and very fresh earthy dark berry fruit and earth-suffused aromas were certainly reticent. The nicely delineated and energetic middle weight flavors possess reasonably good depth while offering solid persistence on the moderately austere and slightly tangy finish.
