Notes of black cherries, plum, and blueberries. Rich and full, with a velvet smoothness on the palate and chocolatey finish. Pair this wine with a juicy stead or other grilled meats.
A story of jealous cousins led to the creation of Nathan Gray. When Cru Selections first started in the spring of 2008, they had a wine called Elle. It was a great bottle of syrah named after Cru Selection founder, Guy Harris’, niece. It was very successful and sold through two vintages before the project was sidelined. During this time, Guy Harris’ son kept asking why his cousin had a wine named after her and “why was there no Nate Wine?” So…lo and behold, Nathan Gray was created. It is a Cabernet Sauvignon made specifically for Cru Selections by winemaker Morgan Lee and Covington Cellars. As excited as Cru Selections is to offer a wine of great quality and value, Nate is even more excited to finally have his “Nate Wine”.
