Pale, bright yellow. High-pitched aromas of citrus fruits, mint and flowers. Concentrated and tactile, with the flavors of pineapple, lemon, lime, pear drop and fresh hay supported by a firm mineral underpinning. Slightly glyceral and exotic, this wine finishes with palate-staining minerality and sneaky length. Here the equally cool nose is compositionally similar to that of the Bourgogne but with notably better complexity. There is also much better mid-palate density and volume to the attractively textured medium-bodied flavors that possess a caressing mouth feel before culminating in a sneaky long finale.
