95 Points Antonio Galloni: “The 2008 Barolo Bussia is striking. Layers of super-ripe dark fruit, violets, minerals, menthol and spices flow from the glass. The Bussia is deep, textured and dazzling. Spiced, mentholated notes develop in the glass, lending a distinctly balsamic air to the Bussia. The 2008 boasts superb depth through to the dazzling finish.”
95 Points James Suckling: “Very decadent and beautiful with velvety tannins, licorice and spice. Hints of espresso and dark fruits. Medium to full body, gorgeous finish."
94 Points Wine Spectator: “Distinctive sage, olive, macerated cherry, bilberry and licorice aromas and flavors highlight this complex and enthralling Barolo, which is intense yet light on its feet. Elegant and persistent, harmonious and long, with an aftertaste that's spicy and expansive. Best from 2015 through 2030. 585 cases made." — Bruce Sanderson
