The 2019 Château Peby Faugeres is terrific, showing more purity and elegance than any other vintage I can recall, yet it's still powerful and concentrated. Notes of cassis, black raspberries, graphite, white flowers, and crushed stone dominate the bouquet, and it has flawless tannins, a round, expansive texture, and beautiful balance, all making for a magical Saint-Emilion that's going to drink nicely on release yet also keep for 20-25 years or more. - Jeb Dunnuck
This a high-toned, extremely polished barrel sample with blue fruit, blackberries and ultra-polished tannins that give a creamy texture to the wine. Like fine velvet in the texture. - James Suckling
