Sourced from five villages along the Saar, the 2016 Riesling Feinherb Alt Scheidt (AKA "Barrel X") offers a clear, intense and fruity bouquet with lovely earthy/slatey notes on the nose. Round, lush and piquant on the palate, with beautiful raciness and mouthwatering fruit, this is a dangerously digestible Riesling with grip, tension and typical Saar lightness.
