Pierre Guillemot Corton Rognet Grand Cru 2015 (750ML)

The 2015 Corton Le Rognet et Corton Grand Cru is—unsurprisingly—the most reserved wine in the Guillemot cellar, opening somewhat in the glass with a restrained nose of ripe cherry and coniferous forest. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, deep and concentrated, with excellent amplitude and dimension, but a taut, finely tannic finish that makes the wine hard to read. This was excellent from barrel, so the only missing ingredient is time. –William Kelley, The Wine Advocate
