Pale lemon colour with a fine racy nose, starts slim and elegant then opens out very nicely, with lemon confit notes and white stone fruit, medium bodied and attractively persistent. Tasted: October 2019 Jasper Morris – Inside Burgundy
Tasting note: Soft whispers of matchstick and smoke add a bit of breadth to the ripe white-fleshed fruit aromas that are trimmed in a deft application of wood. The delicious and nicely vibrant medium-bodied flavors possess both a finer texture as well as slightly better precision if not quite the same richness, all wrapped in a bitter lemon-suffused finish. I like the balance and generosity, and this should age effortlessly. Allen Meadows - Burghound
