Elegant, with rich base notes of toasted brioche and smoke adding depth, this integrates finely honed acidity, detailed texture and flavors of black cherry puree, apple tarte Tatin, kumquat and grated ginger. Provides a creamy, mineral-tinged finish. Drink now through 2022. 50,000 cases made. - Alison Napjus, The Wine Spectator
A nice interplay of reduction and savoury leesiness, with magnum texture and refinement. Very pleasant, an impressive construct. - Decanter
Crisp and clean, with a classic bouquet of orchard fruits, toasted bread, and a touch of minerality, the NV Champagne Cuvée Brut was disgorged in March of this year. It's beautifully textured and has a solid mid-palate, good density, and a clean, crisp finish, all making for a high-quality Champagne to enjoy over the coming 5-7 years. - Jeb Dunnuck
Piper-Heidsieck's white-golden colored, NV Cuvée Brut has a clear, fresh, fine and aromatic bouquet with sweet cherry but also brioche and chalky aromas. The attack on the palate is fresh and delicate, and the charming finish reveals brioche and whole grain as well as aromatic fruit flavors. This is a medium-bodied, stimulatingly fresh and well-structured blend with gorgeous fruit and a clean, persistent finish. I'd like to brunch with it every Sunday morning until the night comes. - Stephan Reinhardt, Wine Advocate
With its 80% of red grapes, this cuvée has structure and fine richness. It has some bottle age while retaining freshness and offers a balanced Champagne that is seamlessly fruity and ready to drink. - RV, Wine Enthusiast
Slightly sweet and lots of Pinot perfume then bone dry. Quite open bead. Not tiring drinking. - Jancis Robinson
Attracting yet more praise in this category was the sample from Piper-Heidsieck, which, as our first Master of the tasting, became the top example of accessibly-priced NonVintage, benefitting from plenty of fruit and freshness and a lovely toasted bready character along with that classic Champagne chalky taste on the finish. - Master Award, Drinks Business Champagne Masters 2016
